Dashboard payment connections: terms of use

Effective October 22, 2026 · Sarmiento Family Dashboard

Purpose and access

The Sarmiento Family Dashboard is a private administrative application operated by Daniel Sarmiento for family coordination and Castalla Speaks administration. Its Pull Payments feature helps authorized academy managers review incoming bank credits and SumUp payments, associate them with family accounts, and prepare receipts. It is not a public banking service.

Use is limited to invited users and the permissions granted to them. Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Protect your sign-in, authentication codes, and application credentials. Contact info@castallaspeaks.es if access is lost or you suspect misuse.

Connecting a bank or payment provider

The account holder must complete the provider and bank authorization process before the dashboard can retrieve bank information. Bank access is limited by the consent granted and the provider’s availability and restrictions. This dashboard feature reads account activity; it does not initiate outgoing bank transfers. Bank consent can expire and may need renewal.

Enable Banking, BBVA, and SumUp have their own terms, eligibility conditions, permissions, and possible charges. Configuring this dashboard does not establish that a provider’s restricted, evaluation, or other access mode is suitable for ongoing academy use. The account holder is responsible for arranging the appropriate provider access and reviewing any provider agreement before accepting it.

Reviewing and recording payments

Imported information may be incomplete, delayed, pending, duplicated across providers, or later corrected. Check the original bank or provider record when a payment is unclear. A card settlement appearing in a bank account may relate to card payments already recorded through SumUp or Stripe.

An authorized manager must check the family, amount, date, reference, and prior records before posting a payment. Posting credits the selected family ledger and can produce a receipt; it does not itself mark an individual invoice as paid. Corrections and reversals should preserve the payment history. A saved receipt is an administrative record of the entry, rather than a guarantee that a bank transaction cannot later change.

Availability and controls

The Pull Payments action checks available connected services. Bank refresh limits, maintenance, expired consent, or provider errors can prevent an update; the screen reports the available status. Imported records can remain visible when a service is disconnected. The bank’s or payment provider’s own records should be used to verify transactions.

Privacy, changes, and contact

The payment connection privacy notice describes data handling and privacy contacts. These terms apply to use of this feature and do not replace an academy enrollment agreement, a banking agreement, or mandatory rights under applicable law. The operator may update the feature and these terms; the effective date identifies the current published version.
